Of course the
first link is the official
BVE website by Mackoy. The site has the actual program itself for download as
well as some helpful utilities including track and structure viewer.
|
|
The next important link for me was the site
that got me started in BVE world one summer, TrainSimCentral. It is a
site by BVE route pioneer Steve Green. He has since retired from the developing
world but his site still has many routes coming, including Northern Line V3 as well as a variety
of trains.

TransArt too.

brilliant high detail, includes fantastic fictional Tram and underground routes for
download.
|
|
BVE routes has a comprehensive list of
international routes available.
|
|
Great site for developers who want smooth
rails and points go here and get SWITCH a proggy that does just that. Also home
to a superb underground German route, with amazing screenshots. Site is in
German though.

An excellent place to discuss
issues related to London Underground, National rail, Buses, Rail systems
Worldwide, trams, light rail and beyond. With plenty of tarsnport industry
professionals amongst the membership, it is an ideal place to ask technical or
research related questions. Also includes a BVE discussion section.

Tom Beevers site is the home of the
Piccadilly Line for BVE and the NETram a fictional 50's tram route. It
also has more routes on the way.
|
|
Saxon Locomotive Works has a huge variety
of brilliant customised trains for BVE and as well as some utilities such as
Power Rail generator, and BVE Route Randomiser by Oskari Saarekas, another
excellent developer. Also includes a random LUL route.
|
|
The District Line site (formerly the Jubilee
Line) by train
driver Alan Lee, is a great place to visit for insider and technical information
about London Underground. Also includes a collection of brilliant Cab Ride
videos of the District line! The site also hosts the Jubilee Line Extension
route by David R Coleman.
|
|
If you want to get to grips with how to code your
own BVE route, visit Al Barten's site. Great for help on all aspects of BVE.
|
|
ZB rail network is a new site with great work
going on by Zazzy Bob. Have a look at the screenshots! Unfortunately Zazzy
Bob has recently put his project on hold as he has real world stuff to be
getting on with, but promises to return...
